We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Communications and Multimedia Marketing Specialist to drive our thought leadership initiatives, event communications, and multimedia content strategy. This role is responsible for amplifying our brand’s voice through executive positioning, industry events, and engaging multimedia content that strengthens our reputation as a market leader. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling, experience with high-profile events, and a talent for crafting compelling narratives that enhance our brand reputation and drive engagement.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Thought Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a thought leadership strategy that positions our executives as industry innovators.
  • Research, write, and edit op-eds, bylined articles, and blog posts to enhance our market influence.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to craft insights that align with industry trends and business objectives.
  • Secure speaking opportunities, media placements, and panel engagements for company leaders.
  • Identify and leverage emerging industry trends to craft timely, relevant content.
  • Track and report the impact of thought leadership and event initiatives and continuously refine messaging and strategies based on feedback and analytics.

Multimedia Content & Video Marketing:

  • Create compelling short-form videos, animations, and multimedia content to support social media, sales enablement, and brand storytelling.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop video scripts, storyboards, and visual assets that enhance key marketing campaigns.
  • Optimize multimedia content for various platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, website, and sales tools) to maximize engagement and reach.
  • Work with designers, videographers, and external agencies as needed to ensure high-quality content production.

Events & Speaker Engagements:

  • Develop communication strategies for major industry events, conferences, and webinars, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Lead event content creation, including exhibit branding, social media, and press releases.
  • Track event performance and provide recommendations for future sponsorships and participation.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in content marketing, public relations, or corporate communications (healthcare industry experience preferred).
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills across multiple formats (long-form and short-form).
  • Proven experience in media relations, including pitching and securing placements in trade or business media.
  • Experience managing social media content and engagement strategies for a corporate brand.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to use hands and fingers and reach with hands and arms.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Able to travel as needed.

The base salary range for the Communications and Multimedia Marketing Specialist position is $65,000 - $85,000. VisualDx is committed to pay equity and transparency. Actual salary will be determined by work location, work experience and educational background.

VisualDX is hiring in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Texas. Applicants must reside in one of these states to be hired. Remote and flexible work arrangements are provided to all employees based on manager approval.
