As a Label Relations Manager, you will be a key point of contact for our label and industry partners who works on building great internal and external relationships that deliver excellent campaigns for customers and artists. The role will require domestic travel and may require evening attendance at industry events and shows.

The Label Relations team owns the existing music relationships, and drives collaborative efforts internally and externally around content launches, events, and cross-category promotions. Label Relations Managers work closely with Programming, Marketing, Editorial, Merchandising, Content Acquisition, Operations, and International teams.

Key job responsibilities

The Label Relations Manager will be responsible for the following:

  1. Acting as an ambassador and advocating for Amazon Music within the music industry
  2. Developing relationships within the music industry (labels, artists, managers) that create new opportunities to grow artists’ fanbases on Amazon Music
  3. Creating and driving end-to-end campaigns in collaboration with internal teams at Amazon
  4. Directly managing the day-to-day relationship with select music labels
  5. Converting new opportunities into campaigns that drive Amazon Music’s business goals
  6. Planning and executing numerous projects, analyzing performance and optimizing future campaigns based on their results
  7. Ensuring content availability in collaboration with Operations and Content Acquisition teams, and driving continuous improvement in digital music operations
  8. Supporting new release planning and launches
  9. Contributing to various Amazon Music projects from a content and analytics perspective
  10. Balancing day-to-day business needs with long-term business goals
  11. Maintain music cultural expertise by monitoring industry trends and identifying new opportunities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 6+ years experience with Label Relations, Account Management or Sales
· Tenured relationships in Music Industry (labels, artists, managers), and proven experience to develop new relationships within Music Industry at UMG, Warner, and Sony
· Professional knowledge of Music Industry and digital media landscape
· Sound work ethic with attention to detail, and drive to deliver
· 5+ Experience in project management and/or driving cross-team collaborations
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Bachelor’s degree required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven ability to interact, earn trust, and get buy in, with stakeholders across all levels of seniority
• MBA in Business, Economics or Digital Media
• Proven experience operating from a sense of urgency in fast-paced environment
• Proven experience in team-oriented work environment
