Who We Are
Horizon Sports and Experiences (HS&E) includes the merger of Horizon Media's Scout Sports and Entertainment division and was created to provide a differentiated and comprehensive approach for clients engaging in sports and experiential marketing. With a fully-integrated service model, HS&E includes a core focus on IP creation and monetization, strategic advisory and consulting, media rights, sponsorship, sales, and experiential strategy and activation - transforming marketers' ability to more seamlessly and effectively leverage their brand assets, content, and engagement strategies to drive increased growth. In addition, given the transformative impact that Web3 and the metaverse are expected to have in both the sports and experiences arenas, Horizon Media's recently launched metaverse consultancy, Chapter & Verse, also resides under the expanded offerings of HS&E.
What You'll Do:
- Ability to understand social trends and how it relates to ever-changing content
- Editing social, branded, and editorial video.
- Always wants to contribute to creative team brainstorms and push content goals
- Understands performance metrics and tailoring of content within audience
- Assist with video shoots and creation of full length shows and cutdowns into social
- Output regular social video cuts with minimal input from manager
- Able to be a jack-of-all trades
- May occasionally be required to capture content with an iPhone and create content for social platforms.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of professional editing experience.
- Eager to learn - Having a positive attitude and openness to progress content to the next level
- Well-versed in Adobe Suite including Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- An understanding of basic social content editing, structure, and pacing
- Comfortability enhancing videos with base-level audio editing
- Previous experience shooting on DSLR cameras is a plus
- Excited to shoot social-style event coverage and timely edit turnarounds
- Hustle - Always wants to be doing more, engaging with audiences, building a social community, not just a following.
- Takes direction, but needs little oversight to get the job done
- Constantly looking for ways to improve his/her skills, adapting to what is relevant within the social stratosphere and greater production realm.
- An advocate for and supporter of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Salary Range
$64,350.00 - $90,000.00
A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual's skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
