We are hiring for a great client in the publishing industry seeking a Marketing Manager to lead strategic initiatives, enhance brand presence, and drive new revenue opportunities. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to expand revenue streams, including online directories and new advertising opportunities.
- Design and execute lead-generation initiatives to support sales efforts.
- Create tailored marketing packages for high-value clients and partnerships.
- Oversee all in-house marketing programs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Build and manage an email marketing database for targeted outreach and engagement.
- Strengthen social media presence across platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter).
- Oversee content creation for websites, newsletters, email campaigns, and direct mail initiatives.
- Collaborate with sales, development, and management teams to align marketing strategies with company objectives.
- Update and enhance marketing collateral, promotional materials, and annual marketing plans.
- Conduct competitive analysis to refine marketing strategies and position the brand effectively.
- Increase website traffic and engagement through SEO, content marketing, and digital advertising.
- Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and marketing service providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, or brand management.
- Proficiency in online marketing, database marketing, and SEO best practices.
- Strong writing and content development skills.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a plus.
- Experience with website management, WordPress, and basic HTML preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and refine marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to occasionally work evenings or weekends based on project needs.
