Location: Hybrid in Tulsa, OK or Chicago, IL (with flexibility for remote work part-time)

web and mobile platform
to make our technology accessible across industries like
aviation, oil and gas, telecom, and defense . We are looking for a
UI/UX Designer (Figma Specialist)
to help craft intuitive and visually compelling user experiences for our
web and mobile applications . This is a
contract, hourly role
in a
high-growth startup with tight deadlines , perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building cutting-edge interfaces. Your Role
UI/UX Design : Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and user flows using
Figma . User-Centered Approach : Design intuitive interfaces that simplify complex data visualization and AI-driven analytics. Mobile & Web Optimization : Develop responsive designs for both desktop and mobile platforms. Illustration & Branding : Utilize
Adobe Illustrator
and other design tools to create icons, assets, and branding elements for a cohesive user experience. Collaboration : Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to refine designs based on feedback. Brand Consistency : Ensure UI components align with CubeNexus's branding and industry best practices.
What You Bring
Required Skills
Proficiency in Figma
(Auto-layout, components, design systems). Experience designing web and/or mobile applications
with a focus on usability and aesthetics. Strong understanding of
UX principles ,
user research , and
interaction design . Ability to create
clickable prototypes
for user testing and development handoff. Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design tools
useful for UI/UX work. Ability to work
independently
and meet
tight deadlines
in a fast-moving startup. U.S. Citizenship required
(due to potential defense-related applications).
Preferred Skills
Experience with
data visualization
or
geospatial mapping
tools. Familiarity with front-end frameworks ( React, Tailwind ) is a plus. Past work on
SaaS platforms
or
complex enterprise applications .
