Justworks is looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing to join our dynamic Marketing team. As we evolve our lifecycle marketing function, this role will play a critical part in optimizing our customer journey—from prospect to loyalist—through strategic automation, personalization, and data-driven engagement. You have experience developing and leading full-funnel lifecycle marketing strategies, balancing lead nurture to activation, and retention and expansion goals. You thrive in cross-functional environments, working alongside Sales, Product, and Customer Success to drive seamless customer experiences. You are equally analytical and creative, leveraging data to refine campaigns while maintaining a deep focus on messaging and engagement strategies. You have a strong background in marketing automation, segmentation, and personalization, and are eager to lead and develop a team of lifecycle marketers to fuel revenue growth. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing and serve as a key leader bridging strategy and execution, overseeing the team’s automation infrastructure, testing roadmap, and campaign prioritization. What You Will Work On
Lead and develop a team of Lifecycle Marketing Managers and Associates, overseeing key focus areas: Lead Lifecycle
– Optimize nurture programs to increase lead-to-opportunity conversions. Retention & Engagement
– Design campaigns to boost customer engagement and reduce churn. Activation & Onboarding
– Improve time-to-value and drive adoption with personalized onboarding experiences. Partner Marketing
– Nurture our partner segment to drive organic growth. Own the strategy and execution of omnichannel lifecycle programs, leveraging email, SMS, in-app messaging, paid media, and automation. Oversee a holistic testing strategy across all lifecycle marketing touchpoints, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization. Develop marketing automation workflows, ensuring seamless, behavior-triggered nurture streams that drive conversion and retention. Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to ensure lifecycle efforts align with pipeline growth, customer experience, and revenue goals. Enhance collaboration between Sales and Marketing, to optimize lead conversion, routing automation, and a cohesive customer experience from prospecting to post-sale. Develop and optimize segmentation models and personalization strategies to enhance engagement. Own campaign prioritization and revenue alignment, ensuring efforts are in line with business objectives and driving toward ROI. Measure, analyze, and report on lifecycle marketing performance, providing actionable insights to leadership. Architect process improvements to lead the team to scalable growth and strong cross-functional partnerships with key stakeholders. Ensure the lifecycle program is compliant with CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, CCPA, and TCPA to mitigate risk while maintaining marketing effectiveness. Establish a partnership with Legal, ensuring campaigns uphold regulatory standards and best practices. How You Will Do Your Work

5+ years of experience developing and executing high performing lifecycle marketing programs with a strong focus on engagement, segmentation and personalization 2+ years of people management experience, leading and developing marketing teams– experience mentoring and developing junior team members a plus. Expertise in marketing automation platforms and integrated tools (Customer.io, Salesforce, Reachdesk, Heap, Pardot, Gong, HubSpot, etc.) Experience with setting clear goals, workflow optimization, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment. Strong analytical skills, with experience using engagement data to optimize campaigns and improve customer experiences. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and align marketing initiatives with Sales, CS, and Product goals. Experience building omnichannel campaign strategies spanning email, SMS, in-app, paid media, organic social, and more. Proficiency in Google Analytics, Tableau, Redash or other BI tools for performance measurement and reporting. Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and conversion rate optimization. Comfortable managing multiple campaigns, projects, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication, project management, and leadership skills. Knowledge of B2B marketing best practices, including lead management, sales enablement, and marketing attribution. Experience in SaaS targeting the SMB space is a plus. Strong understanding of CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, CCPA, and TCPA, with experience implementing compliant marketing strategies is a plus.
