Responsibilities:

1. Plan activities that are developmentally appropriate
2. Design a daily and weekly schedule
3. Provide basic care and caregiving activities
4. Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
5. Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider is preferred
2. Strong understanding of child development
3. Patient, kind, and nurturing
4. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
5. CDA certification
6. Courses in Child Development
