As the Media Director at Bolt Media, you’ll lead a powerhouse team of videographers, editors, copywriters, and designers—while also working closely as the Founders' right-hand partner in shaping the brand’s future. This isn’t just about managing a team; it’s about setting the creative vision, driving innovation, and establishing Seth & Tori Bolt’s brand as the go-to authority in the short-term rental space.

The Person We're Looking for Will Have: 3 years of experience as a Media Director or equivalent role
Proficient with social media platforms and best practices (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Podcast, Facebook, X, TikTok, etc)
Able to “speak the language” of the various creatives on the team (understands video editing, filming, design, audio editing, and copywriting)
Innovative thinker, self-starter
Initiative is a MUST - For example, this person likes to create content and research in their free time. When they accomplish their tasks, they’re excited to start new projects.
Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
Ability to create cutting-edge internet content
Has a great sense of urgency
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership skills
Proactive not reactive
Speed and clarity in communication (primarily in Slack)
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change.
What You'll Be Doing:
People management and process management of the Founders’ personal brand team (long-form editors, short-form editors, videographers)
Meet weekly with the Founders to discuss strategic initiatives
Work with Founders on VLOG concepts well in advance to ensure congruency and alignment on topics and lessons
Lead Founders Personal Brand Creative & Strategy creating a vision deck , as well as a strategy deck that is updated on a quarterly basis and used to set goals for the team
Weekly reporting on content performance broken down by platform delivered to Founders each week
Review final work for Founders personal brand content output (give notes or approval) both for shorts and long teams
Oversee meeting cadence (run some, delegate some)
Lead concepting for Founders content and work closely with them based on their current workload and needs
Working with Founders on suggesting topics for videos/podcasts
Communicate with vendors for additional assets on “as-needed” basis
Oversee Asana workflows and coordinate timelines
Take on new platforms as MD & Founders see fit
Results: Content is congruent with the Founders' values and mission
All content is approved by MD before release
Vlogs approved by MD, Founders
The content schedule is adhered to and is consistent
Posting a minimum of two long-form videos to Founders YouTube channels per month
Posting a minimum of 1 short-form video, cross-platform daily
Posting a minimum of 3 written posts on Founders LinkedIn per week
All personal matters of the Founders are kept confidential

Always propose a solution w/ problems.
Face-to-face for high-impact conversations.
We respond to team members ideally within 2 hours, but at least by the end of the business day.
