As a Senior Technical Writer, youll work alongside engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to create clear, concise, and impactful documentation for internal and external readers. We're looking for someone with technical depth, who can articulate complex engineering topics to a broad audience. Our goal is to provide our users with high-quality, easy-to-use content that enhances their experience and accelerates their success with our platform. Technical writers simplify the use and integration of products by creating valuable content for both developers and everyday users, ensuring our documentation reflects the highest quality and fosters trust.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Technical Writer, you'll play a critical role in shaping and scaling our documentation, creating engaging and informative content for developers using our APIs and platform. You'll ensure our technical content drives developer efficiency and lowers the cognitive load, while maintaining high standards of clarity and accuracy

What You'll Do
As a Senior Technical Writer, you'll play a critical role in shaping and scaling our documentation, creating engaging and informative content for developers using our APIs and platform. Responsibilities
- Document New Products and Features: Work closely with engineering and product teams to create documentation for new product features, API updates, and integrations.
- Create Scalable Content: Develop and maintain long-term content strategies that organize and make documentation easily discoverable for developers.
- Drive Documentation Quality: Ensure content accuracy and clarity by conducting regular content reviews and maintaining high documentation standards.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, customer support, and other stakeholders to ensure technical content meets the needs of users and developers.
- Advocate for Best Practices: Establish writing standards and best practices for internal and external documentation to ensure consistency and usability.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in existing content, processes, and tools, and implement enhancements to streamline documentation workflows.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in Technical Writing, especially within B2B SaaS environments.
- Strong technical writing skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise documentation.
- Expertise in API documentation and a deep understanding of software development processes.
- Proficiency with tools such as Markdown, Git, and JIRA.
- Experience with modern development workflows and an ability to work within a "docs-as-code" environment.
- Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfortable collaborating with technical teams including developers, engineers, and product managers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience writing about backend languages like Ruby, Go, Python, PHP, Node, or Java.
- Knowledge and ability to read front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with documentation generation tools and automation.
- A solid understanding of user experience principles, content design, and accessibility in technical writing.
- Experience with large-scale information architecture projects.
- A passion for learning new technologies and documenting cutting-edge software products.
