About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Project Manager to drive collaboration and operational efficiency across our global design organization. This role is ideal for a strategic and detail-oriented project manager with a strong background in program management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, ensuring smooth workflows and alignment between UX, development, business, and product teams.

Please note this is a hybrid role (3 days per week) in either New York City or Dallas, TX.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate seamless collaboration across UX teams, ensuring smooth workflows and removing roadblocks.
  • Partner with design leads to optimize processes and enhance team effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with development, business, and product stakeholders.
  • Manage projects across multiple time zones, including the U.S., Canada, APAC, and Europe, ensuring effective asynchronous collaboration.
  • Track and drive business impact by ensuring UX initiatives align with key business objectives.
  • Maintain accountability across projects with exceptional attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Lead roadmapping and scoping efforts to define clear project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization, from junior designers to executive leadership.
  • Proactively assess and mitigate risks to maintain the team’s strong reputation.
  • Navigate complex enterprise environments, managing escalations and facilitating decision-making.
  • Foster innovation within a structured corporate setting, balancing creative exploration with operational efficiency.
  • Apply a deep understanding of UX design and research methodologies to support team needs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of professional experience, including 5-8 years in project management within UX/design.
  • Strong expertise in Jira, Confluence, Figma, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to lead UX/design projects in large enterprise environments.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, evolving business settings.
  • Strong organizational and operational acumen, with a track record of driving successful outcomes.
  • Ability to engage and lead UX designers effectively.
  • Financial services/banking experience is a plus but not required.

Logistics

  • Location: New York, NY or Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
  • Duration: Approved through March 19, 2026 + Potential Extensions
  • Team: Chief Information Office – Design & User Experience (Team size: 20)
  • Interview Process: Two rounds (Panel interview followed by final round)
  • Pay Rate: $70-75 per hour (NY) | $60-65 per hour (TX)

This role requires a seasoned UX Project Manager (not a UX Designer) with the ability to manage and oversee UX design projects while ensuring strategic alignment and operational efficiency.
