is seeking a

Web Content Developer/Administrator

to manage and maintain the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) internal SharePoint Online (SPO) site. The ideal candidate will ensure website functionality, enhance content, improve user engagement, and develop site architecture to support decision-making processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain the NSWC PCD internal SharePoint Online (SPO) site. Support website updates and content management to encourage user engagement. Manage and perform site editorial activities, including gathering and researching information to enhance site value. Seek out and evaluate content for relevance and suitability. Gather customer feedback for website improvements and enhancements. Architect, design, and develop NSWC PCD internal SPO sites. Maintain page content by updating, removing stale pages, and fixing faulty URL links. Utilize HTML, CSS, .NET, SharePoint Online, VBScript, and JavaScript for web development. Provide scripting and alternative page delivery solutions. Use tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Flash, and other web production software for multimedia integration. Provide customer training and programming support for SharePoint usage. Guide contributors on submission standards and content management best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Must have 3+ years of experience and SEC+ certification or equivalent. Proficiency in SharePoint Designer, Site Collection Administration, and SharePoint Object Model (2007 or 2010). Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Web Services, and Web Publishing. Experience in web design principles, website architecture, and content management. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and production management. Strong knowledge of web page design, graphics standards, and web accessibility requirements.

Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience managing large-scale SharePoint Online sites. Experience working with government or military websites and compliance standards. Knowledge of user experience (UX) design and content strategy.
