Summary

This position is responsible for the production of graphic materials and publications. Provides technical support and pre-flighting for publications if required.

All applicants should demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to, hunting as an essential part of biologically sound and ethically responsible international wildlife management. The ideal candidate will have an existing knowledge of SCI's current programs and mission and be passionate about hunter's rights.

Responsibilities Develops, designs creative concepts, house, and client ads, print collateral, formats text, and performs layout functions. Verifies critical elements and makes corrections, as needed. Adheres to deadlines, processes, and procedures. Collaborates with ad representatives or client on file preparation. Tests client PDFs and native files and notifies ad-coordinator or client of results. Edits files if necessary. Converts native application documents into print-ready PDFs Scans and corrects digital images. Archives projects for filing in library. Helps maintain digital library of photos and/or ads. Collects and converts files and submits to web editor. Performs other related duties as assigned. Attends meetings, conventions, trade shows, and other events as appropriate. Qualifications

This position requires a High School Diploma and 5 years of experience in graphic design, art production or a related area. An Associate's Degree in graphic design and additional experience in a related area is preferred. Must possess knowledge of design, layout, color, and pre-press processes. Must be proficient with Adobe CS suites Master collection software, Markzware Flight Check, Enfocuse Pitstop, and InDesign. Must also have a good working knowledge of commonly used office software and machines.
