Description for Audio-Video Installation Technician:
Install and troubleshoot audio/video systems including flat panels, projectors, audio systems, and video distribution systems. Perform structured cabling, system integration, and rack building. Work with AVIXA/Infocomm CTS, Biamp, Crestron, and other industry-specific systems. Collaborate with team members and oversee the completion of installations from simple rooms to fully integrated buildings. Ensure safety protocols are followed while working with ladders and power tools.
Job Requirements for Audio-Video Installation Technician:
At least 3 years of experience installing and troubleshooting audio/video systems. Strong knowledge of structured cabling and/or security/surveillance systems is a plus. Ability to work with basic industry tools and a reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license. Must be able to pass a background check and obtain DCJS licensure. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and ability to work under pressure.
