Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean, and South America AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year GENERAL SUMMARY: The Senior Manager of Executive and Stakeholder Communications supports C-suite in developing internal and external communications strategies that inform, engage, inspire, and position AdventHealth as a national leader in health care. The senior manager has superb writing skills and a firm understanding of AdventHealth’s mission and business strategy, which enables them to write both faith-based and business content with authority. The senior manager has proven experience supporting C-suite communications and can capture the distinct voices of various leaders in speeches, video scripts, and short- and long-form written messages. The senior manager supports executives in communicating timely and strategic news to external stakeholders by developing vehicles, content, and collaborating on community relations and advocacy strategies. The senior manager’s superb organizational skills allow them to successfully manage daily content and deliverables, as well as long-range projects. They also oversee management of the executive editorial and engagement calendar. The senior manager is a collaborator with a strong understanding of Public Affairs and Marketing strategies and goals. They actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The role you’ll contribute:

Develop executive and stakeholder communications strategies, including community engagement platforms, for the Central Florida Division CEO and SVP of Public Affairs. Develop written, verbal, and video content for AdventHealth leadership, external stakeholders, and the community. Collaborate with the executive team to develop a content calendar for communications opportunities to include internal meetings and public speaking engagements. Assist in the development of annual business plans, executive toolkits, and other special projects in support of C-suite priorities. Develop weekly internal communications content (written and video) for select C-Suite. Provide thought-leadership strategies and content for various channels including social media. QualificationsKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Superb writing, copy editing, and public speaking skills with the ability to relay complex topics in ways that are engaging and meaningful to various audiences. Ability to write, with authority, faith-based messages that convey AdventHealth’s mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ. Ability to manage multi-platform communications to include community newsletters, video, social media, and special projects. Critical thinker and collaborator with a strong understanding of community engagement strategies for executives. Excellent leadership skills. Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals. Stellar organizational skills with proven success in leading a high-volume communications team. Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines. Effective computer skills, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in AP Style. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

Understanding of brand journalism and owned content strategies. Proficient in community relations strategy development. Experience consulting senior-level executives. Understanding of the health care industry. Ability to write in news-style formats, including for television/video audiences. Development of multi-channel editorial content calendars. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or related field. 6 years of experience in corporate communications, media/public relations, marketing, journalism, or equivalent combination of experience. Proven track record leading communications teams in large organizations. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

Experience with communications supporting Public Affairs or Government Relations. Experience in an integrated communications department that includes collaboration with internal communications, external communications, marketing, and digital.
