Job Description We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Editorial to lead our content strategy with a focus on performance branding. In this role, you will craft and oversee the creation of compelling, high-impact content that elevates our pre-eminent, luxury-positioned wellness brand while driving measurable business outcomes, such as purchase conversions and profitable customer acquisition. You will seamlessly blend creative storytelling with the principles of performance marketing and direct response copywriting, ensuring that every piece of content strengthens our brand identity and contributes to Pique’s growth in the competitive DTC eCommerce landscape. Responsibilities Develop and execute an editorial strategy that reinforces Pique’s luxury wellness brand positioning while achieving performance marketing goals, including customer acquisition and retention. Write and oversee the production of persuasive, conversion-focused content across multiple channels (e.g., website, email, META ads) that drives purchases and engages our target audience. Partner with marketing, sales, and data analytics teams to optimize content performance, leveraging insights to refine strategies and maximize profitability. Help lead and mentor a team of marketers, cultivating a culture of creativity, excellence, and data-driven decision-making. Manage the editorial calendar to ensure consistent, timely delivery of content that aligns with business priorities and resonates with luxury wellness consumers. Track and analyze content performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates, click-through rates, acquisition costs), delivering actionable reports and recommendations to senior leadership. Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer preferences, and best practices in branding, performance marketing, and direct response copywriting to maintain Pique’s leadership in the wellness space. Requirements 7+ years of experience in editorial, content marketing, or a related field, with a proven focus on performance-driven content and direct response copywriting. Demonstrated success in developing content strategies that drive measurable business results (e.g., conversions, customer acquisition) in a DTC eCommerce or consumer products environment. Exceptional writing and editing skills, with expertise in crafting compelling narratives and direct response copy that align with a luxury brand voice and drive action. Experience leading and inspiring a team, fostering both creative innovation and a results-oriented, data-driven mindset. Strong analytical abilities, with proficiency in using data to inform content strategies and optimize performance outcomes. Deep knowledge of the wellness and/or luxury brand sectors, paired with a passion for Pique’s mission to deliver revolutionary health and beauty solutions. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and align stakeholders around shared goals.
