Public Relations Account Executive, Kreps PR & Marketing
Kreps PR & Marketing, an award-winning PR agency with 30 years' experience serving real estate, hospitality, corporate and lifestyle clients, is seeking a public relations Account Executive (AE) with two to four years of relevant professional experience, either in an agency environment or as part of an in-house corporate communications team.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent writer with strong media pitching skills and a proven track record for success, demonstrated by a portfolio of news clips secured. This is a client-facing role, so candidates should have strong verbal communication skills, and the ability to provide knowledgeable counsel to clients as it pertains to marketing, reputation management, and public relations. Experience with planning special events, developing social media strategy, or a background in journalism also a plus.

PR Account Executive responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support Senior Account Team in supervising day-to-day operations of accounts and junior team members
- Contribute to PR strategy meetings, and lead or facilitate client meetings as needed
- Write press releases, media alerts, media pitches, bios, and other supporting materials
- Pitch press releases and feature story ideas to national, regional and trade journalists, across print, broadcast and online
- Suggest creative story angles and source new media opportunities
- Media monitoring and analysis on behalf of clients
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events by finding and booking venues, liaising with clients and suppliers, handling logistics, managing budgets and invoicing, organizing accreditation, managing risk and presenting post-event reports
Experience and Skills
- BA or BS in related field
- Minimum two years PR agency or in-house marketing experience
- Familiarity with real estate, legal, and hospitality industries
- Familiarity with South Florida market a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Proficient in AP style
