Syntelligent is seeking a full-time Audio-Visual Engineer to support upcoming/contingent work at USSTRATCOM/J61.

Schedule: Day/ M-F

Anticipated Salary Range:

Responsibilities

Duties will include:

• Implement and manage video and audio signal encoding and decoding to ensure high-quality transmission and reception.
• Design, configure, and maintain secure and reliable video teleconferencing solutions.
• Ensure the proper setup and operation of digital audio equipment for conferences, meetings, and mission-critical communications.
• Develop, integrate, and support AV control systems for mission-critical conferencing environments.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience as an IT Systems Engineer (SE).
• Experience must include: Requirements Tradeoff, Cost Estimation, Technical Assessments, Technical Planning, Configuration Control Boards, Capabilities Based Assessments, Integrated Baseline Review, Lifecycle Sustainment Planning, Information Assurance / Cybersecurity, Requirements Traceability, Systems Engineering Plan, Work Breakdown Structure, Technical Audits.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience or documented training in designing, deploying, and maintaining systems and capabilities.
• Must be able to obtain certification meeting 8140 series requirements within 6-months of notification.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience demonstrating written and oral communication skills including developing and presenting complex written products and oral briefings to senior leaders at the O-6/GS-15 level or higher.
• Senior-level specialized knowledge, skillsets, and experience with digital encoding / decoding techniques and standards, video teleconferencing, digital audio engineering and Audio-Visual control systems for mission critical conferencing.

Substitutions for experience:

• A Master’s degree in engineering discipline or Computer Science can substitute for three (3) years of experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or Computer Science can substitute for one (1) year of experience.

Clearance: Top Secret (TS) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
