About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead AV Technician to join our team onsite in Williamsburg, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of state-of-the-art audiovisual (AV) systems in corporate, hospitality, and educational environments. As a leader in the field, you will oversee projects, mentor junior technicians, and ensure high-quality AV solutions that exceed client expectations.

What You’ll Do

1. Lead AV Installations: Oversee the setup and integration of AV systems, including displays, projectors, sound systems, and control panels.
2. Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with AV equipment, networking, and system configurations.
3. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of AV technicians, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specifications.
4. Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to understand their AV needs and provide expert recommendations.
5. System Programming: Configure and program AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX, etc.).
6. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, updates, and repairs to ensure peak AV system performance.

What We’re Looking For

1. Experience: 5+ years in AV installation and integration, with leadership experience preferred.
2. Technical Skills: Proficiency with AV systems, wiring, rack building, and control system programming.
3. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
4. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to lead a team and interact with clients professionally.
5. Work Ethic: Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional AV solutions.
