Essential Job Functions:

  • Assists in the safety, proper maintenance, repair, and technical work of any stage sets, meeting spaces, and conventions.
  • Assists in the collected effort of any technical work needed for stage/meeting space set-up and breakdown.
  • Ensures proper lighting for stage and conventions.
  • Lighting reinforcement of all stage presentations or conventions or special projects.
  • Operates motorized vehicles, i.e. hydraulic and electrically powered hi-reach (man lift) and hand tools.
  • Promotes Caesars and acts in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Exhibits a positive, outgoing personality.
  • Must understand and be able to work with large-scale digital DSP-based music and paging systems as well as large format analog, digital, and IPTV-based video distribution and CATV systems.
  • Requires proficiency in programming lighting for stage and events and shall possess a good understanding of production practices and procedures.
  • Must be able to manage entertainers' needs and control/mix audio and lighting for performances.
  • Create, edit, and finalize video and audio programs and presentations. Configure and operate remote video and audio recording sessions.
  • Must be able to operate various machines such as scissor and bucket lifts, forklifts, and pallet jacks, and be able to work at heights over 75’.
  • Evaluate industry developments and recommend appropriate uses for management.
  • Ensures all products meet standards set by the department.
  • Acts as a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Sets up and maintains the sound and lighting systems in entertainment areas.
  • Operates the sound and light systems for assigned shows and events.
  • Assists in setup and strike of band equipment for different acts in entertainment venues.
  • Handles all tech requests from setup.
  • Handles all department setup needs, from setting up/tearing down staging to putting up banners for events.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in audio, lighting, musical, stage, wardrobe, hairdressing, and make-up equipment and costumes as appropriate for entertainment performances and events, i.e., headliners, production shows, conventions, TV broadcasts, movie productions, and sporting events.
  • Must have a willingness to learn new systems and technology.
  • Must possess excellent skills in project management, communication, and supervision.
  • Must be able to spend long periods on your feet.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to have a flexible schedule and work weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.

  • Must be able to work in an environment ranging from controlled to moderately severe.
  • Must be able to climb, stand, bend, and stoop.
  • Must be able to work in cramped areas for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
