Umonhon Nation Public School is seeking teacher candidates to join our growing, progressive, and culturally enriched public school. UNPS is located on the Omaha reservation, 30 miles south of Sioux City, IA, and 60 miles north of Omaha, NE. Umonhon Nation Public School has been recognized for its innovative educational implementation, using applied behavior analysis, restorative practices, and project-based instruction. Candidates will experience rich cultural activities and enjoy truly groundbreaking instructional delivery through the Ashita Thewathe Outdoor Classroom, 7-acre School Garden, and our newly opened Against the Current Career Academy. Must have or be eligible to obtain a valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate.

Benefits:

1. $5,000 Sign on Bonus paid at beginning of contract
2. Contract hours: 7:45 am - 3:45 pm
3. Competitive Salary: $48,282 base for 2025-2026 school year
