Music and Pastor and Education Job Job at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminar

The worship and education pastor is responsible for the planning, development and promotion of music/worship and education programs of the church.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Be present for regularly scheduled church services.
• Assist the Pastor in planning worship services.
• Maintain a music library, materials, supplies and musical instruments. Direct and oversee all choirs.
• Facilitate music experiences through Easter/Christmas cantatas.
• Serve as the overseer of the Sunday school, small groups and Vacation Bible School directors.
• Serve as music resource for Church functions.
• Cooperate with associational, state and denominational organizations.
• Actively participate in church outreach programs.
• Prepare annual budget for Music and Education programs and administer the approved budget.
• Be accountable to the Pastor.

Qualifications:

• Have a testimony that reflects Jesus as Lord and Savior.
• Have a commitment to personal spiritual growth and development. Be willing to model the standards and expectations of staff of Pinecrest Baptist Church.
• College education required.
• 0-5 years minimum experience.

Salary:

$55,000 – $70,000 annual
