$60.00/hr - $75.00/hr

Client out of Holland, MI is looking for a UI/UX Designer to join their team for the next 3-6+ months. They are overloaded with work and need to bring in additional help. This is for a once external website that has been brought back in to be managed internally. Really need help in making a product that is more intuitive.
Figma is the tool used.
UI/UX Designer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly creative and motivated Lead UI/UX Designer to join our growing Application Development team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and shaping the user experience for our suite of custom web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for the entire design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and collaborating with developers on implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of user interfaces for a variety of web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Create user personas, user journeys, and other relevant documentation to inform the design process.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and iterate on designs.
- Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and improve the overall user experience.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest UI/UX trends and best practices.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization.
- Mentor and guide junior designers on the team.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and experience.
- Proficiency in Figma is required.
- Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Experience designing and implementing interfaces to meet ADA compliance standards.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
