User Experience Design Analyst
Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a User Experience Design Analyst to contribute to the development of user-centered design solutions for digital products. This role requires a strong understanding of UX principles, visual design, and user research methodologies. The UX Designer will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create intuitive and visually compelling experiences that enhance customer interactions. This is a six month contract to hire position.

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to define product requirements and create user-centered design solutions
  2. Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and user flows
  3. Participate in and facilitate user research initiatives, ensuring user needs and pain points are identified and translated into design solutions
  4. Create visually compelling and intuitive user interfaces that align with brand and accessibility guidelines
  5. Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback into design iterations
  6. Maintain design consistency across all touchpoints in the customer journey
  7. Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to enhance design processes

Qualifications of the Right Candidate:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in UX design, with a focus on digital products
  2. Proficiency in visual design and the ability to create interfaces
  3. Experience participating in and facilitating user research initiatives using UserZoom or similar tools
  4. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  5. Demonstrated ability to translate complex user needs into intuitive design solutions
  6. Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design principles
  7. Self-directed in a fast-paced environment, capable of managing multiple projects
  8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  9. Familiarity with design systems and frameworks
  10. Proficiency with Figma, including Auto Layout
