Job Title: Web Developer
Location: Dallas, TX or Columbus, OH (Onsite)
Duration: 06-month contract (with possible extension)
Start Date: Targeting April 2025
Pay Rate: $52.51/hr. on W2

Job Description:

  1. 9+ years of experience in REACT, Next Js, CMS, CI/CD Github, and BackEnd API Integration.
  2. Responsible for creating maintainable, accessible React component UI.
  3. Responsible for creating automated unit tests and integration tests with Jest, React Testing Library.
  4. Responsible for creating visual regression tests Applitools and Playwright.
  5. Knowledgeable in creating continuous integration pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure.
  6. Knowledgeable in TypeScript, NodeJS, Webpack, Rollup, React Context, CSS, CSS-in-JS, Storybook.
  7. Attend agile team meetings, provide work estimates, participate in code reviews, pair coding, prepare demos, provide technical documentation, and participate in on-call rotation to support incidents in production.
  8. Technologies quickly and be self-directed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. You should have a passion for continuously improving organizational practices. You will be responsible for the creation of concept, design, development, testing, and maintenance of applications for reliability, security, manageability, scalability, extensibility, performance, and re-use.
  2. Provide technical expertise in the areas of architecture, design, and implementation.
  3. Collaborate with technical and business team members to create excellent software.
  4. Determine the best implementation that will meet the design of the Application Architect.
  5. Ensure that thorough unit and component testing is carried out.
  6. Set and adhere to software coding and style guides to ensure consistency.
  7. Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to style standards and code quality.

Skill Set:

  1. BS in computer science or equivalent. Software engineering development experience which includes Java/J2ee specific experience.
  2. Robust understanding of Java, an in depth understanding of other Java technologies including Servlets, JSP, JDBC, and other J2EE technologies; and familiarity with XML, XSD, and XSL. Other object-oriented design experience, experience applying design patterns, and UML familiarity is essential.
  3. Hands-on SQL/RDBMS experience, Oracle strongly preferred.
  4. Full lifecycle development experience on large projects, creating distributed and scalable eCommerce systems.
  5. Experience in developing and driving SOA strategies within large enterprises and deploying SOA implementations to production a big plus.
  6. Hands on experience with Agile methodologies highly desirable.
  7. Strong communication skills.
