The Sr. Manager, Creative Design NA will act as the team design lead for the execution of all brand assets across Disney Store and Disney Store Outlet touchpoints, inclusive of web, mobile app, and other digital, print, and experiential products, for the North America region. They will work in close collaboration with their EMEA Senior Creative Design Manager peer, ensuring minimum redundancies, holistic global brand execution, imagery standards, and team growth opportunities. They will also manage large-scale, high-profile marketing beats, collaborating with partners across the business. They will be the primary lead for creative inspiration and innovation with our NA design team, ensuring we are delivering best-in-class, on-trend, brand creative.

In This Role, You Will (Responsibilities):

  • Lead a team of designers and collaborates with regional design manager peer(s) to produce best-in-class brand creative that brings our global brand creative principles to life
  • Evolve brand style guidelines across all Disney Store NA touchpoints
  • Own style direction for Global Marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Ensure regional design needs are defined and implemented while aligning with global direction
  • Implement mobile-first design and imagery best practices in digital channels
  • Work closely with project manager to adhere to timelines for all relevant projects and initiatives and identify development opportunities for designers
  • Work closely with Site Merchandisers, Marketing, UX/UI, and CE partners to produce best-in-class digital platforms that connect with customers for an inspiring and seamless shopping experience
  • Provide inspirational examples from the marketplace to drive team innovation and thought leadership, regularly pitching our business partners new ideas to test into related to our business opportunities
  • Mentor emerging design skills as needed while leading by example through execution of high-visibility marketing campaigns
  • Owns team organizational design, regularly assessing capacity and skill needs and recommending team optimizations to CD and Sr Creative Ops Manager
  • Drive toward holistic global brand design execution (with regional nuances where needed), with an eye toward reducing team duplication and increasing efficiencies
  • Lead concepting and/or design for highest-viz new business opportunities and redesigns (examples: loyalty program, Holiday, retail packaging)
  • Drive innovation in our organic and paid campaigns for Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, partnering on building out strategy
  • Deliver design solutions that highlight features and benefits of our product to create Disney difference within the marketplace

You Will Have (Qualifications):

  • Experience with Ecomm channels -app, desktop, and mobile best practices
  • Familiarity with Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Nat Geo characters and stories a plus
  • Familiarity with the Disney brand, Park attractions, and history a plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, knowledge of HTML and animation platforms a plus
  • 7-10 years relevant industry experience managing a design team of 5
