Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Technical Writer:

• Research, prepare, and edit complex technical documents for publication
• Collaborate with multiple teams to gather information and coordinate edits from multiple contributors
• Develop supporting visual materials such as diagrams, graphs, charts, and flowcharts
• Interpret and apply complex governmental policies, translating them into process and technical documentation
• Manage multiple projects, track progress, meet competing deadlines, and escalate risks as necessary

Required Skills for Technical Writer:

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Technical Writing, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent education and technical training
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, RoboHelp, and Camtasia
• Strong copy editing and writing skills, with experience using the AP Style Guide
• Minimum two years of experience developing documentation, training materials, user guides, online help, SOPs, or similar
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively across teams
