Overview

Alliant is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to lead strategic internal and external communications initiatives that amplify the brand, engage key stakeholders, and align with business objectives. This role requires a skilled communicator with exceptional writing, editing, and project management abilities, capable of synthesizing complex information into clear, compelling narratives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with expertise in public relations, investor relations, executive communications, and internal messaging. The Corporate Communications Manager will report directly to the SVP of Operations and work closely with the senior leadership team.


Principle Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute corporate planning strategies including annual planning, business reviews, and executive presentations, providing key project management and oversight to the leadership team to ensure alignment with corporate goals and key performance indicators.

• Craft compelling materials for quarterly board meetings, communicating financial and corporate updates to investors and other stakeholders with a strategic and compelling approach.

• Lead the development of the monthly operating report, collaborating with key stakeholders to craft compelling narratives that highlight business successes, key performance indicators, and strategic insights.

• Lead internal communication strategies, including organizational announcements, change management, and crisis communications, in collaboration with leadership and HR

• Develop and support the delivery of executive messages for internal platforms such as full team meetings, leadership forums, and company-wide emails.

• Partner with Operations and HR to drive clear, effective communication on workforce strategies, operating model changes, and company culture.

• Manage major communications initiatives, including organization announcements and change management efforts, including internal email distribution, ensuring all internal messaging is cohesive, engaging, and aligned with corporate goals.

• Oversee corporate public relations efforts, including media outreach, press relations, and public speaking engagements.

• Develop communication strategies for mergers, acquisitions, and corporate milestones, ensuring seamless messaging.

• Prepare investor relations materials as needed, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity.

• Support the CEO and leadership team with strategic communications, meeting agendas, and project execution.

• Partner with senior leaders to enhance communication effectiveness and drive engagement.


Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

• 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, and/or investor relations, with a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives.

• Expertise in public relations, mergers and acquisitions, and change management communications is preferred.

• Demonstrated success in developing and executing high-impact executive messaging and communication strategies that align with business objectives.

• Proven ability to design and implement comprehensive internal communications programs that enhance corporate brand identity, reinforce culture, and drive employee engagement.

• Deep understanding of corporate strategic planning and execution, with the ability to translate complex business goals into clear, actionable communication initiatives.

• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, including crafting compelling executive speeches, thought leadership pieces, and board and investor messaging.

• Strong executive presence, with the ability to influence senior leadership and effectively manage high-stakes communications.

• Highly adept at handling confidential and sensitive communications with discretion and professionalism.

• Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint and other presentation tools, creating visually compelling and engaging materials for diverse audiences.

• Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it effectively to executives, employees, investors, and external stakeholders.

• Proven experience collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in corporate messaging.

• Strategic thinker and hands-on team player, equally comfortable driving high-level strategy and executing tactical deliverables—that believes in having fun while getting things done.


This is a full-time, on-site position located in Brewster, NY. Please note that relocation assistance is not offered for this role.
