Life Takes You Places! Are you ready to join us? The base salary range for a Business Analyst I - Producer Services is $44,000 - $70,000. The base salary range for a Business Analyst II - Producer Services is $54,000 - $97,000. Actual salaries will vary by geographic location and are based on factors such as candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, competencies, and company tenure & equity. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance and individual performance. This is a multi-level position with increasing levels of responsibility and requirements for each level. Business Analyst I - Producer Services Overview This position requires a comprehensive understanding of business processes and system needs, particularly in producer compensation, compliance, and reporting operations. The role involves leading ongoing business process reviews and developing optimization strategies. Key responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, validating, and documenting business stakeholder needs, evaluating and improving business processes, and implementing solutions. The position also involves creating functional and system requirements documents, developing and executing test plans, assisting with user acceptance testing, and coordinating with various teams for implementation. Additionally, the role includes creating training materials, facilitating user training, and maintaining project repositories in line with company policies. Business Analyst II - Producer Services Overview This position requires a high-level of understanding of business processes and system needs, particularly in producer compensation, compliance, and reporting operations. The role leads ongoing business processes and develops optimization strategies and serves as the project lead for multiple medium and large complex projects. Key responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, validating, and documenting business stakeholder needs, evaluating and improving business processes, anticipating requirements, performing requirement analysis, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. This role provides functional and system requirements documents including inputs, processing steps and outputs to meet user needs to assist developers in successfully translating and achieving project goals. Develops and executes test plans and scripts, assists with user acceptance testing and documents results. Responsible for organizing and conducting defects meetings and coordinating with various teams for implementation. Additionally, the role includes creating training materials, facilitating user training, and maintaining project repositories in line with company policies. Business Analyst I Essential Duties: Works with multiple departments, business partners, and/or vendors to solicit, collect, analyze, document, and communicate functional and system requirements based on current and future Business needs Develops test plans and test scripts, oversees testing of each delivered object to ensure all known defects are resolved before deployment Coordinates with Producer Services staff, other business areas, IT, and/or vendors on development, testing, and deployment activities Develops and or coordinates with the Training Department to develop training documentation, as needed, and organizes user training Maintains project documentation Performs other project-related tasks as assigned
Business Analyst II Essential Duties: Works with multiple departments, business partners, and/or vendors to solicit, collect, analyze, document, and communicate functional and system requirements based on current and future business needs Serves as the Producer Services Subject Matter Expert on all assigned projects or corporate initiatives Establishes metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of projects Develops test plans and test scripts, oversees testing of each delivered objective to ensure defects are resolved before deployment Coordinates with Producer Services staff, IT, and/or vendors on development, testing, and deployment activities Develops and or coordinates with the Training Department to develop training documentation, as needed, and organizes user training Maintains project documentation Performs other project-related tasks as assigned Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Business Analyst I Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Basic working knowledge of health insurance industry and/or business-related operations and processes Knowledge of information gathering, planning, and organizing methods and principles Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills including the ability to address a wide range of audiences Customer service skills Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, MS Visio, and Power Point. MS Project skills are preferred. Working knowledge of Operating Systems, Web-based Systems, Databases, and Communication Protocols Ability to prioritize workflow and maintain attention to detail within time constraints Ability to synthesize data from divergent sources and create a final product with a consistent voice, look, and feel Ability to translate between technical and business language Ability to effectively facilitate meetings Ability to work independently on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Business Analyst II: Advanced working knowledge of insurance industry and/or business-related operations and processes Knowledge of information gathering, planning, and organizing methods and principles.
