Duties/Responsibilities: Work with Sales Executive to provide updates on upcoming submissions and request any outstanding items Follow-up with carriers so that new quotes are delivered on a timely basis; negotiates coverage/pricing/add-ons; verifies returned quotes match requested coverage. Track marketing activities with complete applications, correspondence, and other required forms Provide top 3-5 quotes and any specifically requested quotes to Sales Executive Create proposals timely to allow Sales Executive to make revisions; consistently accurate information is provided in the proposal Bind coverage on sold policy; submit standard “no-go” letters to other quoting carriers; turns account over to assigned Account Executive
Position Requirements: Active Property and Casualty Insurance Producer License Minimum Previous 5 years’ experience as a successful Commercial Lines Account Executive Insurance knowledge with comfort in discussing coverage with underwriters and insureds Strong PC skills, with the ability to effectively utilize the agency's management systems, Microsoft software products, and carrier resources Ability to work independently within a fast-paced, changing environment Pro-active, with the initiative to prioritize and meet deadlines
