We are building a cutting-edge web application framework to deliver a Gen AI tool for investment research. This role involves leading the design and implementation of the web app, overseeing both aesthetics and architecture. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on strategically important projects and gain exposure to groundbreaking initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support and maintain existing applications and Streamlit.
  2. Deliver incremental enhancements in Streamlit.
  3. Evaluate and propose future state technology stacks based on user needs and constraints.
  4. Lead the team in design thinking with respect to user experience design.
  5. Collaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate APIs.
  6. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  7. Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the front-end codebase.
  8. Design and implement reusable and modular components using Angular.
  9. Ensure seamless integration with RESTful APIs and backend services.
  10. Provide recommendations for technology improvements and propose innovative solutions to enhance user experience.

Required Qualifications:

  1. 5-8+ years of UX Design experience, with a strong focus on providing streamlined experiences for users on critical internal platforms.
  2. Proficiency in Front-End Web Application development, particularly with frameworks like Angular or React.
  3. Experience in designing and implementing reusable, modular components using Angular.
  4. Familiarity with integrating APIs and collaborating with backend engineers.
  5. Experience in performing code reviews and writing tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
  6. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.
  7. Strong understanding of front-end build tools and package managers.
  8. Proficiency in version control systems such as GIT.
  9. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with Java frameworks.
  2. Familiarity with CICD processes.
  3. Certifications: No specific certifications required, but any certifications related to web development or UX design will be considered a plus.

Interview Process:

  1. Initial Screening: Review resumes to ensure candidates meet the minimum qualifications. A brief interview to assess technical background and alignment with the role's expectations.
  2. Technical Interview: Focused on front-end technologies, API integration, and UX design principles. Review past projects and discuss design thinking.
  3. Team Fit and Collaboration Assessment: Interview with team members to evaluate collaboration and communication skills.
  4. Coding/Design Challenge (Optional): A hands-on test to evaluate technical skills in real-time.
  5. Final Interview with Leadership: Discuss leadership, vision, and cultural fit with senior leadership.
  6. Decision & Offer: Selection based on skills, experience, and team fit. Offer extended to the chosen candidate.
