The Amazon Luna team is leveraging the power of the cloud to enable customers to experience the rich and immersive world of gaming on all of their existing devices. Luna represents an exciting and truly new product and business, with a high degree of innovation, and an opportunity to reach a large volume of passionate customers.
This is an early stage initiative with a fast-paced, highly collaborative, start-up-like environment inside Amazon. This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible and entrepreneurial individual who is comfortable operating with ambiguity. We are looking for a team player who is excited to work closely with a cross-functional team to create end-to-end customer flows for new and existing experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end UX Design for projects across Luna
- Uncover customers needs and pain points through testing and research
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams, as well as business stakeholders
- Incorporate customer feedback, technical constraints, and usability findings into design
- Analyze metrics post-launch to inform design/UX optimization efforts
- Maintain design systems and guidelines for simple, consistent experiences across products and features
- Be resourceful and creative to overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunities
- Last but not least, have fun in the process!
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of design experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Proficiency in Figma and modern design tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with UX design of complex workflows
- Experience designing TV interfaces and directional (D-pad) inputs
- Experience in gaming, entertainment, e-commerce, or marketplaces
- Expertise in visual design, motion design, marketing design, information architecture
- Experience in developing and maintaining design systems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
