Head of Digital Marketing


Location: Nashville, TN

Schedule: M-F, 9am-6pm, Occasional nights/weekends

Compensation: Full-Time | Salary | Exempt


Job Summary:

The Head of Digital Marketing will be responsible for leading innovative, data-driven digital strategies that drive artist growth, audience engagement, and revenue across NHRE's roster. This role requires a proactive digital leader with a deep understanding of the evolving social, content, and streaming landscapes. You will collaborate closely with artists, management, internal teams, and external partners to execute high-impact digital campaigns.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive, cutting-edge digital marketing strategies for artist releases, ensuring alignment with overall marketing plans.
  • Act as a though leader in the digital space, identifying new opportunities in emerging platforms, fan engagement tools, and evolving algorithms.
  • Establish and track KPI-driven digital roadmaps that drive consumption, audience growth, and fan conversion.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, technology, and consumer behavior shifts to keep NHRE ahead of the curve.
  • Oversee multi-channel digital marketing campaigns across social media, creator marketing, short-form content, CRM, paid media, and emerging tech.
  • Lead the creation, implementation, and optimization of paid digital advertising strategies, ensuring maximum impact and return on investment (ROI).
  • Leverage artist platforms and fan engagement tactics to drive visibility, engagement, and consumption.
  • Work cross-functionally with creative, audience development, and marketing teams to develop and execute high-impact digital activations.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics, providing actionable insights for ongoing optimization.
  • Utilize social listening tools, analytics dashboards, and streaming data to refine audience targeting and marketing effectiveness.
  • Make real-time, data-driven adjustments to improve engagement and campaign success.
  • Serve as a liaison between digital platforms, internal teams, artist management, and third-party agencies.
  • Work closely with creative teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all digital touchpoints.
  • Lead digital education efforts within the company, ensuring teams are informed of platform updates, new tools, and best practices.

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing within the music, entertainment, or media industries.
  • Proven track record of success in digital strategy execution, audience growth, and fan engagement.
  • Deep industry knowledge and strong relationships with key digital platforms (TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Snap, etc).
  • Experience in social media strategy, digital advertising, creator marketing, content strategy, SEO, and CRM.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Chartmetric, CrowdTangle, or similar).
  • Experience managing paid media campaigns across social, search, and DSPs.

  • Highly analytical with the ability to translate data insights into strategic decisions.
  • Creative problem solver with a deep understanding of storytelling, branding, and audience behavior.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience working directly with artists, manager, and senior leadership.
  • Passion for music is a must.


Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred, but not required.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position may oversee a marketing team in the future.
