We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Designer to support the design and product development teams at Still Here. This is a hands-on, entry-level role ideal for someone who enjoys balancing creative vision with technical execution to help bring each collection to life.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of seasonal collections from concept through final production.
  • Research trends, fabrics, trims, and techniques to support design inspiration and moodboards.
  • Create and update CADs, technical flats, tech packs, BOMs, and spec sheets using Adobe Illustrator.
  • Manage samples and fittings, including tracking, photographing, and taking detailed fit notes.
  • Organize and maintain fabric, trim, and color libraries, ensuring all material info is current.
  • Keep seasonal documents, style records, and line plans organized and up to date.
  • Support sample development by tracking styles from prototype through production.
  • Communicate with vendors, factories, and mills to ensure timely sample approvals and consistency in materials.
  • Assist with material sourcing and design iterations, upholding brand standards and identity.
  • Contribute to internal presentation materials, including moodboards, line sheets, and decks.
  • Support QC processes by identifying product issues and tracking revisions.


Key Qualifications:

  • Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Google Suite (especially Sheets).
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally with design, development, and external vendors.
