Union Adventist University seeks committed SDA candidate for tenure track faculty position in instrumental music beginning June 2025. Responsibilities include overseeing the instrumental program, directing instrumental groups, advising undergraduate music majors, and teaching undergraduate courses and instrumental lessons.

1. Direct the concert band, chamber orchestra and selected instrumental ensembles
2. Teach courses such as Introduction to Conducting, Music History, Instrumental Techniques, general education Music Survey courses, and others
3. Continue to develop a Music Technology lab.
4. Assist with annual Music Festivals
5. Advise music majors

Required Experience

1. Must be currently authorized to work lawfully in the United States
2. Master's degree in music required, doctoral preferred
3. Minimum of five years of experience, including three years of teaching experience
