Aspire Digital Solutions is looking for an experienced SEO professional to join our team as a full-time Director of SEO. In this hybrid role, you'll work on-site in our Ridgefield, CT office three days a week (MWF), and remote two days a week (T/Th). Candidates must be within commuting distance to Ridgefield.

We’re a full-service digital agency with a strong focus on SEO, managing campaigns for local, regional, and national businesses across healthcare, private equity portfolios, home services, logistics, and more. Responsibilities

  • Manage SEO strategy and implementation for ~25 clients (mostly local/regional, with some national).
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor audits, and content planning.
  • Oversee content strategy: article topics, page rewrites, on-page SEO, FAQs, and internal linking.
  • Collaborate with our backlink partner to manage off-page SEO campaigns.
  • Execute and oversee local SEO tactics: GBP optimization, BrightLocal/Yext citations, posting schedules, and local map ranking.
  • Use tools like Looker Studio or Agency Analytics to track and report performance.
  • Serve as SEO consultant to clients—communicate strategies, performance, and progress.
  • Implement and troubleshoot schema/structured data (JSON-LD/WordPress-based).
  • Monitor and address indexing, technical SEO issues, and Google updates.
  • Monitor evolving SEO trends, including Google’s Search Generative Experience (SGE), AI-driven ranking factors, and local algorithm updates, and adapt strategies accordingly.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of SEO experience, ideally in an agency setting.
  • Strong experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, GA4, and Google Search Console.
  • Familiarity with RankMath or Yoast, and experience managing SEO within WordPress.
  • Proficient in implementing and understanding schema/structured data.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Business Profiles and how they impact local SEO.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of emerging SEO trends, including AI-driven changes to Google Search and local SERP features (SGE, Perspectives, etc.).
  • Familiarity with geo-modified search behavior and the role of proximity, relevance, and prominence in local rankings.
  • Experience with multi-location SEO is a big plus.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to present and explain SEO strategy to clients.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using Looker Studio or Agency Analytics for dashboards and reporting.
  • Familiarity with BrightLocal or Yext for citation management.
  • Industry experience in healthcare, home services, or other local SEO-driven verticals.

Location & Schedule

  • Hybrid: In-office in Ridgefield, CT on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Remote on Tuesday and Thursday.
  • Candidates must live within commuting distance to Ridgefield.
