This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing strategies to drive sales, profitability, and business growth for a specific product category that align with the overall company's business objectives by effectively managing the portfolio and ensuring it meets the needs of the target customer. Responsibilities Category Lead:

Lead person for information related to the category. This entails working with the sales team in the field to help identify customer/segment opportunities. Market Analysis:

Analyze and define industry and category market trends as well as customer behavior to drive product growth and innovation within the category. Strategic Planning:

Assist in the development of marketing plans, business plans, sales strategies, and action plans for identified targets of opportunity. Product Management:

Responsible for product lifecycle from introduction of new products to developing exit strategies for unsuccessful, underperforming products. P&L:

Individual is responsible for topline and bottom-line objectives both at a category as well as at a SKU and customer level. Collaboration:

Work closely and establish strong relationships with cross-functional team members to ensure cohesive marketing efforts. Marketing Materials:

Develop and implement new marketing materials, digital communications, and collateral and responsible for existing marketing materials. Promotions:

Develop, execute, and measure promotional plans to drive product sales and awareness within the category. Pricing:

Manage the pricing within the category to maximize profitability and maintain a competitive position in the market. Qualifications 4+ years relevant work experience, especially as it relates to financial analysis, P&L's, executing strategic plans and overall category and project management. 2+ years of Foodservice experience or a similar sector is preferred. 2+ years of progressive financial, P&L and pricing management is preferred. Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing, business, or finance/economics. Master of Business Administration degree required or in progress. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to operate as a team player. Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Range $125,000 to $135,000
