WFLA/WTTA/WSNN is seeking a Multimedia Designer and Video Producer to join our creative team. The ideal Multimedia Designer and Video Producer will bring a unique vision on how to skillfully develop graphics, animation and video to enhance our content and strengthen our brand. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and a keen sense of how to capture and create compelling video.

Duties:

• Create graphics and animations for on-air, digital, and print needs.
• Produce web, social media, and news graphics.
• Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines.
• Contribute creative ideas.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Shoot and edit video for marketing spots and commercial clients.
• Collaborate on video elements with producers, clients, and graphic designers.
• Discuss assignments, logistics, and schedules with team members.
• Safely operate camera equipment and company vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, Broadcasting, or related field preferred.
• 1+ year of experience with Adobe Creative Suite and video production.
• Basic typography and motion graphics skills.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior designers and producers to create graphics and animations for newscasts, commercials, and promotional content.
• Produce graphics using industry-standard software.
• Maintain consistent visual identity and adhere to brand guidelines.
• Contribute creative ideas in brainstorming sessions.
• Stay updated with design trends and best practices.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Editing in Adobe Premiere a plus.
• Portfolio or website showcasing design skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow design guidelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to take constructive feedback.
• Basic understanding of motion graphics and animation principles.
