About the Job:

AEG Vision is seeking a Marketing Manager, Web SEO, and Local Search to manage and optimize the company’s web properties, organic search performance, and local search presence across more than 450 independently branded optical practices across the country. This role will oversee the agency that provides website development and content management system (CMS) support, while also driving website conversion rate optimization (CRO), landing page development, and integration with paid media campaigns. The role requires strong expertise in website analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and call tracking implementation.

This position will collaborate closely with the Sr. Director of Performance Marketing and Analytics and cross-departmental marketing partners to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for website optimization, organic SEO, and CRO. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and enhancing the company’s local search presence, including Google Business Profiles and other online listings, ensuring accurate data and strong performance across organic search channels, and ensuring transparency in performance and the contribution of organic search to the company's overall growth.


Website & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

  • Manage the agency responsible for website development and the CMS, ensuring optimal website performance and usability.
  • Oversee website conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies, including landing page testing, A/B testing, and user experience enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the paid media team to align website landing pages with campaign goals and optimize for conversion.
  • Collaborate with the Patient Experience & Practice Growth team to ensure that the patient experience provides high value to our patients while meeting organizational standards of care and performance objectives.
  • Ensure website compliance with SEO best practices and technical SEO requirements, partnering with the Manager of Content and Creative on content and visual strategies for SEO.

Organic Search (SEO) & Local Search Management:

  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance organic search rankings, traffic, and engagement to achieve outsized market share of impressions on SERP results.
  • Own and manage Google Business Profiles and other local listings, ensuring accuracy and optimization for search visibility.
  • Partner across the marketing team to ensure listings are maintained with accurate and complete information based on the requirements established in the digital marketing roadmap.
  • Monitor and work with our digital agency to optimize site structure, metadata, schema markup, and other on-page SEO elements.
  • Implement strategies to improve organic visibility in local search results and ensure consistency across online listings.

Analytics, Tagging, & Performance Reporting:

  • Direct and oversee partnership with our digital agency to implement and manage Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for tracking website and campaign performance.
  • Work closely with the analytics team to develop dashboards and reporting frameworks for websites, Google Business Profiles, and other organic search channels.
  • Oversee the integration of call tracking platforms with paid and organic search efforts, ensuring accurate attribution and reporting.
  • Provide regular performance insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Strategic Roadmap & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Performance Marketing and Analytics to develop a strategic roadmap for website growth, SEO improvements, and conversion optimization.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Work cross-functionally with paid media, content, and development teams to align marketing strategies and execution.

Requirements:

Required:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, marketing analytics, business, technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, website management, SEO, and CRO.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in managing website development agencies and CMS platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in driving and improving SERP results for a $100M+ revenue business.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in technical aspects of website development and integrations.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and call tracking platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, local SEO, and structured data implementation.
  • Strong understanding of the technical aspects of web content management, CMS platform management, and website marketing integrations.
  • Experience with website CRO techniques, A/B testing, and landing page optimization.
  • 1+ years of experience in coding in Javascript, HTML, Rails, or similar.
  • Familiarity with web concepts and coding frameworks, such as semantic markup, mobile first, Bootstrap/Bulma/Tailwindcss, including HTML, CSS, and basic website development principles.

  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies.

Preferred:

  • Experience in multi-location platforms, multi-location healthcare, private equity-backed businesses, or highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant marketing and first-party data strategies.

Pay Range: $80K to $100K per year, plus bonus
