Graphic Designer – Contract – 20hrs/week – Hybrid (Austin, TX 78726)

We’re seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team on a part-time, 3-month contract. This hybrid role requires 20 hours per week and is based in Austin, TX (78726). The ideal candidate will have strong conceptual design skills, the ability to manage multiple brand identities, and experience in higher education or agency settings.

Responsibilities:

• Design and finalize commencement materials, including programs, slides, and other ceremony assets.
• Develop digital and print marketing materials to support recruitment, branding, and philanthropy efforts.
• Collaborate with the Creative Services & Marketing Team to execute institutional branding projects.
• Work within Teamwork (PM software) to manage and complete design requests.
• Support ongoing multi-page publication design, such as magazines, philanthropy materials, and bookstore assets.

Qualifications:

• Higher Education or Agency Experience – Ability to manage multiple brand identities and create work that aligns with institutional branding.
• Advanced Adobe Creative Suite Skills – Strong proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator for high-level digital and print projects.
• Strong Conceptual and Branding Skills – Ability to develop logo designs and brand-focused creative that strengthens Concordia’s visual identity.
