Web Designer/Developer
Position Overview:
World Services is seeking an experienced Web Designer/Developer with expertise in full-stack web development, cloud platforms, and federal web accessibility standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices for Drupal CMS and deploying enterprise applications in AWS cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites and web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Deliver intuitive UI/UX by applying user-centered design principles, backend requirements, and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with federal web accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG).
- Implement DevOps best practices for Drupal CMS, including version control, automated testing, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and cloud-based solutions for enterprise applications.
- Optimize website performance, security, and scalability in cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web applications and hosting environments.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development, including front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (PHP, Python, or similar).
- Experience with the AWS cloud platform, including deploying enterprise applications.
- Extensive experience with Drupal CMS development and deployment.
- Strong understanding of DevOps tools and methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
- Expertise in accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG) and responsive web design principles.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience applying evaluation approaches and techniques, including bibliometrics, altmetric, natural language processing (NLP), meta-synthesis, meta-analysis, qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research.
- Expertise in network analysis, data visualization, and developing information briefs and reports related to STEM education programs and participant outcomes.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
