Responsibilities


Page is seeking an Architecture Technical Designer to collaborate with our team members for architectural solutions as well as coordinate with design through the construction documentation phase of a project.

  1. Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production
  2. Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives
  3. Responsible for coordinating and leading the project production team in developing Live Set and construction documents
  4. Initiate and develop technical level design concepts and details
  5. Coordinate consultants’ work and drawings into production set
  6. Review specifications in conjunction with the senior design professionals
  7. Provide technical assistance to other team members
  8. Prepares and modifies architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc. as directed by others utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  9. Develops technical solutions to design problems following established standards
  10. Coordinate with the project architect and senior design professionals to develop, modify, and/or review drawings to ensure the incorporation of the design intent
  11. Coordinate as required with multiple team members, consultants and other disciplines for project support
  12. Implement firm’s Quality Management checks and ensure comments are incorporated
  13. Builds BIM models for client/project team review
  14. Performs product research; assists project designers and project architects with materials selection and system research
  15. Maintain electronic drawing files and project file archives
  16. Work collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment to produce integrated project documents and ensure integrated design approaches & solutions
  17. Assures document standards are met and archives documents appropriately
  18. May assist team in construction administration document management
  19. Works closely with delivery team and assists to complete projects on aggressive schedules
  20. Develops a comprehensive understanding of clients’ program requirements and standards and policies for completion

Qualifications


  1. Bachelor’s level professional degree in Architecture is required.
  2. Minimum 4 years’ experience working at an Architectural firm, full-time
  3. Revit experience
  4. Develops a comprehensive understanding of clients’ program requirements and standards and policies for completion
  5. Basic knowledge of architectural building systems
  6. Ability to apply diverse technical knowledge of architectural design
  7. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  8. Ability to work in a team environment
  9. Ability to mentor team members
  10. Ability to effectively meet deadlines and deliver results
  11. Knowledge of relevant building codes and accessibility requirements
  12. Ability to use CAD and/or BIM software
