Responsibilities

The Creative Expression Provider works directly with Canyon Ranch guests, guiding them to discover and explore their creativity through a variety of creative expression experiences. The primary responsibility of this position is to facilitate group workshops, provide one-on-one guest consults, and lecture on topics related to creative expression and the creative process. Secondary responsibilities include:

  1. Professional documentation.
  2. Guest follow-up.
  3. Attending departmental/interdepartmental meetings and trainings as required.
  4. Creating program materials for guests.
  5. Contributing to new program development.

Guest Services: Provides and conducts group arts and crafts workshops/classes (90%). Program Development: Assisting leadership with the creation, implementation, and promotion of new programs as it relates to the department (10%).


Qualifications

Master’s degree in creative expression, fine arts, art education, or art therapy is required.

Five years of experience teaching the creative expression process and practice to adults preferred.

Five years of related public speaking experience preferred.

Excellent ability to inspire, encourage, and guide others into their own creative expression and practices.

Highly skilled in teaching multiple creative mediums.
