Finance Coordinator - Carolina Herrera (Fashion) Job at Puig in New York

The Opportunity

The Finance Coordinator supports local and HQ-based teams in managing company Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and capital expenditure projects. This role also acts as a liaison between local teams and HQ accounting for day-to-day needs.

What you'll get to do

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

1. Support AR processes:
   1. Manage clearing for all retail accounts and payment forms including but not limited to cash, credit cards, PayPal, deposits.
   2. Manage AR and clearing for external partners such as FarFetch and Global E.
   3. Assist in managing AR for wholesale accounts including following up with customers, managing chargebacks, posting and reconciling payments.
   4. Reconciling monthly credit card statements.
2. Locally support AP process:
   1. Liaise with North America AP and local teams to ensure on-time processing of invoices locally.
3. Capex:
   1. Manage internal budgets and project management needs.
   2. Support accounting for capital expenditures.
4. Assist local and HQ Finance department (G/L, A/P, A/R and Payroll) in daily operations.
5. Support yearly audit.
6. Validate data coherence between the different systems used by the company.
7. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
8. Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets and actual expenditures.
9. Assist in implementing and maintaining internal control requirements from HQ across departments.
10. Monitor and control corporate accounting policies.

We'd love to meet you if you have

• 1-3 years relevant experience, fashion/consumer products a plus.
• Minimum BA required.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and managerial skills; able to work as a team, as well as handle projects on his/her own.
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of accounting and financial software (knowledge of SAP, GCS, and Y2 a plus).

A reasonable estimate of the current hourly rate is $30/hour - $32/hour USD.
