What You’ll Do
As a Magazine Keeper/Labourer, you will be responsible for supporting production operations in the various factories on the site, in a reliable and safe manner. You will ensure the safety of operations by following company policies, health and safety procedures and by performing regular equipment inspections. Other duties include:
- Reception and mixing of raw materials.
- Manufacture and packaging of explosive products.
- Maintain magazines to regulatory standards.
- Transferring of bulk products.
- Maintenance and verification of production equipment.
- Perform trailer loading assistance and capacity to maneuver up to 60lbs.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the various departments.
- Take inventory of packaged products.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior manual labor experience preferred.
- General explosives permit (or possibility of obtaining it).
- Ability to read, write and speak English and to communicate in written and verbally.
- Ability to work primarily outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
