About the Position

Lockton is a global professional services firm with over 10,000 Associates who advise clients on protecting their people, property and reputations. Lockton has grown to become the world's largest privately held, independent insurance broker by helping clients achieve their business objectives.

The Producer Proxy will work alongside a Producer and will be responsible for Client Relationship Development, New Business Development, and Client Retention.

1. Develop and cultivate strong relationships with senior leadership at clients. Ensure that Lockton is regularly present.
2. Collaborate with service teams to establish an ongoing benefit offering strategy aligned with client industry vertical and client goals/objectives.
3. Attention to detail in review of presentation materials. Ability to support recommendations with wisdom and knowledge.
4. Present to executives and assist the team in creating presentations that are executive level focused.
5. Collaborate internally with Lockton SME Practices to ensure cohesive messaging for presentations and meetings.
6. Work with core teams to solve client issues by presenting Lockton specialty practice expertise & services.
7. Be admired and respected by team leads and leadership. Adapt to unique team styles.
8. Lead behind the scenes and allow the team lead to present, reinforcing key messages or recommendations in meetings.
9. Negotiate and collaborate internally with SMEs and teams to produce the best presentations and recommendations.
10. Mentor team members in their technical, leadership, and presentation skills.
11. Leverage work with other clients and teams to share best practices.
12. Support any increase/decrease in fees, as needed, and communicate with clients.
13. Deliver tough messages to clients with credibility.
