Trade Marketing Specialist /Coordinator

Four Squared Solutions is seeking a Trade Marketing Specialist /Coordinator for an opportunity with a client located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

The Trade Marketing Specialist will be working in the travel industry focuses on developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the travel brand to travel agents, tour operators, and other distribution channels. Their role is designed to drive sales, increase brand awareness, and ensure that travel products and services are being effectively marketed through third-party partners. Develops partnerships, promotes sales, creates campaigns, trains agents, and drives brand visibility in the market.

Key responsibilities include:

1. 1. B2B Marketing Strategy: Creating marketing campaigns and materials targeted specifically at travel agents, wholesalers, and corporate partners who sell travels to consumers.
2. 2. Partnerships and Relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key travel industry partners. This includes working with travel agencies, online travel agents (OTAs), and other third-party vendors to improve distribution channels and drive sales.
3. 3. Promotions & Incentives: Developing special promotions, incentives, and offers for travel agents to encourage them to sell more travel packages. These could include exclusive deals, commissions, or rewards programs.
4. 4. Training & Support: Providing training and resources to travel agents, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to effectively sell the travel line's offerings. This might involve conducting webinars, creating training materials, and offering in-person sessions.
5. 5. Market Research: Analyzing market trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to help refine marketing initiatives. This includes keeping track of sales data to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
6. 6. Event Coordination: Organizing and attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the travel line and engage with key partners. This helps with brand visibility and provides opportunities to network.
7. 7. Brand Positioning: Ensuring that the travel line's brand is consistently represented across all trade channels. This involves aligning messaging and promotional materials with the overall brand strategy.
8. 8. Reporting & Analytics: Tracking the success of trade marketing efforts by analyzing sales data and feedback from partners. They would report on the effectiveness of campaigns, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Minimum Experience Preferred

• Bachelors degree in marketing, business or related field of study required
• 3-5 years experience in marketing role
• Proven experience with B2B or B2C marketing and email campaigns
• Strong project management skills
• Detailed oriented and excellent organizational skills
• Travel industry and trade marketing experience a plus
