Overview:
We will be providing an Internship in our Marketing department, and the Intern will:
Assist in creating and executing strategies to increase member engagement with core products including checking accounts, credit cards and consumer loans. Use member data and analytics to develop insights on member behaviors, preferences and product usage. Assist in creating targeting member segmentation strategies based on demographics, product usage, and engagement levels. Use data to identify opportunities for more personalized and relevant messaging to drive greater involvement and product adoption. Contribute create ideas for attracting new members through community events and digital campaigns. Ensure that new member outreach focuses on building lasting relationships and encourages early product adoption. Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns aimed at increasing engagement and product utilization. Provide recommendations for improving strategies based on data insights, member feedback, and performance metrics. The goals of this internship will be to acquire knowledge on Banking. Internships will run during Summer 2025 months for 10-12 weeks. Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week.
What You Will Learn To Do During This Internship:
The Intern-Marketing Strategist will gain skills related to full-scope marketing strategies and how building a marketing plan comes together and is executed. These include creative, strategy, ROI, Media, Events, etc. Duties and roles assigned to a specific department. Assisting with the processes and functions within the assigned department. Project To Be Completed During Internship
:
• To build and execute a credit card acquisition and activation campaign focusing on promoting the new line of credit card. This campaign should focus on targeted messaging, focusing on different age groups and current life-stage.
Requirements
What We Are Looking For
:
The Intern is required to be a current Junior or Senior level university student in a Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or a recent graduate in one of these programs. Strong interest in financial services marketing Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Google Analytics is a plus. Ability to analyze member data and behavior, and to translate insights into actionable marketing strategies. Excellent communication skills - written and verbal Advanced Excel, MS Office Suite are required Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box. Availability to work full-time during the Credit Union's core business hours
