Sunham Home Fashions is hiring: Designer in New York

Sunham Home, soft home textile company, is seeking a talented Designer to join our mid-town Design Studio. The position will work collaboratively with Sales, Product Development and overseas Team to generate designs for soft home textile bedding and bath products.

Responsibilities include:

• ensuring that quality designs are generated and on-brand for each customer;
• attending kick off meetings with Product Development and Sales in order to understand overall vision and scope of each project;
• supporting the design process for accounts/brands;
• creating presentations and managing samples;
• supporting seasonal Market with the collaborative direction from senior Design teams;
• communicating with overseas teams in regarding ongoing design projects.
• Actively involved in showroom set up.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in design
• Textile surface design experience is a must
• 1-2 years textile design experience in home

Please note that this is specifically focused on textile design in the bedding and bath category.

Hybrid role - 4 days in mid-town NY Design Studio and 1 Work From Home on Fridays
