US Company is hiring: Executive Producer in Atlanta

Television News - Executive Producer - Full Time

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the preparation and execution of daily newscasts, managing a staff of Anchors, Reporters, Producers, Associate Producers, Assignment Editors, Directors, Photographers, and Video Editors.
2. Demonstrate strong news judgment, leadership skills, creativity, and a drive for excellence.
3. Plan and execute strategic initiatives effectively.
4. Lead digital efforts and social media initiatives.
5. Possess several years of producing experience in major market newsrooms and executive producer experience.
6. Multi-task effectively and work collaboratively as a team player.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of television news.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with daily deadlines and changing priorities.
• 3-5 years of experience as a producer and/or executive producer in a commercial news operation required.
• College degree in journalism or broadcasting preferred.
• Proficient in news computer systems.
