The ideal candidate is serve as the lead marketing executive. You will manage all marketing efforts including planning, research, advertising, communications and public relations in line with our objectives.
The Head of Marketing leads marketing and collaborates closely with the educational initiatives for SFI Health. This individual is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing business plans for assigned, brand(s) and channel(s), leading the implementation and execution of the approved marketing plans for SFI Health and providing marketing input and support to Global Marketing. Responsibilities focus on leading health care professional, retail, digital and direct to consumer marketing efforts as well as health care professional education initiatives with the goal of driving sustainable sales growth and increased product(s) and SFI Health brand awareness. In addition, as needed time dedicated to work with Global Marketing & Science on providing input into Global Marketing plans.
The Head of Marketing will interface regularly with SFI Health departments (e.g., Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Science and Education, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Global Marketing as well as outside agencies and service providers.
This Head of Marketing has a responsibility to participate as a member in the Regional Executive Team and will be responsible to collaborate strategically with executive team members for the health of the business, be the “voice of the market” and provide updates on Marketing strategies as requested.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Essential job functions:
- Collaborate with the business and leadership team and key stakeholders to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products
- Oversee and grow the marketing department, consistently identifying revenue opportunities within our established customer/HCP base in current and new business channels
- Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations
- Working closely with Head of Operations and SFI Marketing Insights and Data Analytics Team, understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and customer/HCP trends in order to translate results into actionable insights
- Lead the development of SFI Health marketing plans working closely with BU leadership, , creative and content agencies/teams, and distribution partners, to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for SFI Health products
- Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations
- Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive interest and sales
- Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis
- Collaborate and work closely with Sr. Medical Science and Education Liaison and the MSL team who work collaboratively with Sales department head to develop KOL engagement plans and identify potential KOLs and clinical investigators; develop collaborative relationships with KOLs and lead meetings with KOLs to discuss relevant scientific literature and address scientific inquiries. OWN the KOL and advisory board
- Support educational content development for the company
- Direct creation of credible and compelling educational materials, including lectures, monographs, articles for third-part publications, webinars, trainings, and other marketing collateral
- Develop and maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of clinical and technical information related to company products and ingredients, such as key selling points, indications, contraindications, cautions, use recommendations, formulation, etc.
- In conjunction with the Global Marketing & Science define the marketing strategy and roadmap (internationally) in alignment with SFI Health’s vision (Microbiome, Cognition Area and their link)
- With Global alignment of Marketing & Science plan, direct, and manage an integrated set of marketing efforts including development of a Brand Portfolio 1 year brand plan, and 5-year Marketing Road Map with focus on the priority international markets to ensure maximum return on investment
- As the key marketing representative of the USA Design Market, transfer knowledge and collaterals from the USA to the Global Marketing & Science to share with other regions and reciprocating by bringing knowledge and collaterals from other regions (APAC, EMEA) to the SFI USA
QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of Nutraceutical/Supplement industry experience in product marketing with director-level responsibilities, and a strong track record of measurable success
- Successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns
- Successful product launch and new product introduction experience
- Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Proven ability to plan and manage complex budgets, media strategies, and advertising calendars, including familiarity with application of data analytics and implementation of modern marketing optimization and testing strategies
- Direct experience developing and managing multi-channel lead-generation, content marketing, and lead nurturing campaigns (aptitude with related marketing automation platforms, including HubSpot)
- Demonstrated track record of success in development of health care professional-centric value propositions and tactical implementation of marketing plans
- Demonstrated ability to gain consensus among multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization
- Demonstrated ability to partner with others to guide marketing initiatives/projects to successful completion while staying within budget
Skills & abilities:
- Excellent management and leadership skills with an ability to influence senior leaders, guide and mentor staff and outside agencies and contractors, while delegating assignments as needed to meet critical deadlines
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
